Doing Your Best When Things Happen in Life


What is it like to live with Parkinson’s Disease and how does a person develop the resilience to keep on going when facing a major disease? Russ and Tommy had answers for me. Russ leads a Parkinson’s Disease Support Group and gave the practical answer that “a person has to do what a person has to do.” That takes courage. Tommy, who we featured in our last post about exercise, is a spiritual person who states: “I have Parkinson’s but I’m not Parkinson’s.”
